Our SMS manuals are compliant with Transport Canada’s Marine Safety Management System Regulations and can be scaled and customized as required. SMS development can be done remotely, on-site, or a combination of both, depending on your operation’s needs.

Operationally Tailored SMS Development for Class(es) 2/3 and 4/5 Vessels

The SMS package includes:

• Tailored procedures
• Submission-ready package
• 1 online familiarization session for management
• 1 day remote training
• 60 day remote support

Additionally, for vessels in Classes 2/3, we offer coordination with external audit agencies.

Please note: This package does not include the development of vessel documentation already required for conformance with the Canada Shipping Act 2001 (e.g., Fire Safety Plan, LSA Plan, logs, drill checklists, etc.). This package presumes the vessel and shore-based operations are currently in compliance with non-SMS regulatory requirements.
